City Umhlanga

Umhlanga is located on the east coast of South Africa in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, just north of the port city of Durban (16 km). It's a pleasant town with beautiful beaches for great swimming. This makes Umhlanga one of the most popular beach destinations on the East Coast. Umhlanga in Zulu means "place of reeds". There are many restaurants, bars and shops too many accommodations, from large hotels to small B&B's.

The warm currents of the Indian Ocean, the wonderful climate and beautiful golden beaches that stretch over 200 km to the iSimangaliso Wetlands Park provide a formidable vacation destination.
