Wayne Donaldson

Wayne Donaldson (born 1969)

Qualified nature guide (FGASA levels 1 and 2) including the savannas in Limpopo and Mpumalanga (Kruger Park) and the Western Cape province. He is also qualified as a cultural guide for the Western Cape Province, and officially registered as a tour guide in South Africa since 1996. In 2004 Wayne attended additional training at the Cape Wine Academy and is now specializing in South African wines. He also attended a five-day photography course in 2009 at the Cape Town School of Photography. Photography is a great passion of this guide, whether in the Cape Winelands or near the Kruger Park where he grew up.

In recent years Wayne was especially a guide for private safaris and wine routes with special interest in photography. He speaks Afrikaans and English.

Willie du Toit

Willie is a qualified culture guide for South Africa and Swaziland. He has worked his entire life in the tourism industry. He currently lives in Pretoria, but also worked as a tour guide in Cape Town area for two years and has tours to Cape Point, the centre of Cape Town, the winelands and Garden Route (both private and organized tours). Currently he is doing a lot of tours in Johannesburg, Soweto, Sun City, Pilanesberg, Kruger National Park, and the Eastern and Western Cape without solid planning from another travel agency. He just needs the address of the booked accommodations as a base to work out a beautiful route, of course, as desired by the customer. He has a Volkswagen Combo 8-seater with a permit for a comfortable tour!

Allan Theron

Allan Theron has been around since 2000 in various ways working as a driver and tour guide. Allan is a qualified touring guide in the Western and Eastern Cape, Mpumalanga, Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal. He has had additional courses in photography and gained knowledge of Cape Town and the Garden Route / Western Cape through courses. When you choose Allan as your guide, he will do his utmost to let you go home with beautiful pictures, but of course also "in the moment" to enjoy the beautiful scenery in South Africa. Interested in birds? Then Allan is the perfect guide for you! Allan is English speaking and he is obviously in possession of all the necessary licenses.

Karen Small

Karen Small (born 1957)

Since 2006 Karen has been a tour guide and has a passion for the outdoors, nature and of course people. She happily takes her guests to active trips in the outdoors including mountain biking, hiking, zip lining and fishing. In 2011 she qualified herself in the wines with a wine course at the Cape Wine Academy, so they also can learn a lot in that area. Her great love is the Garden Route and she shares this part of South Africa happily with her guests. Karen is officially a Culture Site Guide (level 4) for the Western Cape, Namaqualand and Port Elizabeth and its surroundings. She is also a Cultural Tourist Guide of Cape Town, the Winelands, Overberg region West Coast and the Breede River Valley. Karen speaks English and Afrikaans and is in possession of a Professional Drivers Licence.

Elaine Corbett

Elaine Corbett

Elaine worked many years for the Cape Town Information Centre where they provided tourist information about the city and its many attractions. She is registered as a National Tour Guide and speaks Afrikaans, English and some German.

Qualified as a tour guide through the Livingstone Tourism Academy and holds a certificate from the Cape Wine Academy (level 1). Erika especially does touring in Cape Town and the surrounding area.

Shaun Taylor

Shaun Taylor

Shaun Tayler has long been a true nature and wildlife enthusiast specializing in Big Five safaris in the Kruger Park. This passionate guide aims to show you the real African bush to any tourist. Shaun offers private tours which mean that you will experience this unique experience only with your own party (partner, family, and friends). Shaun has been working more than 10 years in and around the Kruger Park and has his own safari company for several years already with among others a private accommodation (including meals) in a Big Five reserve bordering the Kruger National Park and open safari vehicles. For bushwalks, take some time to take pictures, safaris in the Waterberg region, viewing the Panorama Route, fishing trips and you're at the right place with Shaun. All his tours are very personal and can be customized to your needs. When you go, you can be assured that an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide is always ready to help you out when it comes to Shaun.

Shaun is a qualified Field Guide of South Africa and Mpumalanga, a member of Skal, has degrees in game ranging, lodge management and wildlife management. He has also completed courses with the themes of hazardous wildlife, snakes and behaviour of mammals.

Paul Matthecka

Paul Matthecka

Paul has been working in the tourism industry for long; in 1989 he was officially registered as a tour guide. He recently renewed his registration (due to new regulations), and is now officially a guide to the provinces of Western Cape and Eastern Cape. Paul visits, particularly in Cape Town, Cape Point (Cape Peninsula), the Winelands and the entire Garden Route to Port Elizabeth. Paul speaks English and German and is also registered with the CTGA.

Hercules Snyman

Hercules Snyman (born 1964)

Certified as Culture National Tourist Guide for the provinces of Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Northern Cape, Free State, Limpopo and Mpumalanga. Hercules has experience touring Southern Africa as a guide / driver and knows the different border posts and their protocols. He worked as a police captain before he was a tour guide. From 2001 to 2005 he had his own tour company with four vehicles, then working as a freelance tour guide for various companies. Hercules has had on his tours many Dutch guests and can pretty much understand Dutch. Afrikaans and English he speaks fluently. His interests are photography, hiking, birds, proteas and geocaching. He has knowledge of first aid (first aid level 1). In addition to his Professional Drivers Licence he also has a driving license for heavy vehicles.

Anver Marshall Frazenburg

Anver Marshall Frazenburg

Anver was born in 1990 in the Schauderville town in the province of Eastern Cape. In 2002 he moved to Franschhoek where he started as a driver in 2009. Anver is very interested in tourism and hopes to start in 2015 with the training to tour guide. Besides his work Anver is involved in helping the youth in Groendal to give them more opportunities for the future. He provides football training and working with the children to improve their self-esteem. Anver speaks Afrikaans and English. His favourite places in South Africa are Port Elizabeth, Table Mountain and Robben Island.

One of the best wine estates in the Franschhoek Valley was where James grew up and still he lives in this area. After he worked at various wine farms, James became interested in tourism and training to become a tour guide. James is a qualified driver and speaks Afrikaans and English. He moves preferably in the Winelands, the Overberg area and Cape Town.

Lowie Federick Gelandt

Lowie is a qualified guide and driver and has a First Aid certificate. Lowie grew up on a wine farm in Franschhoek Valley and knows this area very well. He likes to tell about the area and to give his personal guests touring stories. In 2011, Lowie is officially tour guide and since he does both day tours as well as multi-day touring in Cape Town, the Cape Peninsula, the Cape Winelands, Garden Route and Klein Karoo, Route 62. Lowie speaks Afrikaans and English.

Patrick Steefan Galant

Patrick Steefan Galant

Patrick grew up in Ottery in Cape Town and later moved to the Franschhoek Valley, where he completed his school. After school he worked in the Franschhoek Wine Valley, where he gained a lot of knowledge about the wine country. Patrick's a driver and tour guide and speaks Afrikaans and English. He goes preferably in Cape Town, Cape Point (Cape Peninsula) and of course the winelands.

My name is Maher Edwards, although I have more than 5years experience in the Tour Guiding field I only recently became registered as an official SA Specialist Tour Guide (WC9602) for the Western Cape.

I concentrate mostly on adventure tours, i.e. Big 5 Safari's; Abseiling down Waterfalls; Hot-air Ballooning; River Rafting; Shark & Crocodile Cage Dives, Paragliding, Skydiving etc. However we also do Sightseeing, Full & Half City day tours.

I am fully conversant with the required protocol to deliver a seamless service that will entertain, educate, excite and satisfy you or your visitor's every need. They are of sober habits and completely honest and reliable.
