St. Francis Bay - Cape St. Francis Golf Club

St. Francis Bay Golf Club is located in the eponymous town on the coast of the warm Indian Ocean, in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. The golf course was designed in 1975 by Robert Grimsdell, who has Mowbray, Durban Country Club and Hans Merensky to his name. Through the years, the course changed and has grown back to a full 18-hole golf course which was opened in December 1999. And since that time there are always improvements taking place, such as longer courses to provide more of a challenge. Today it is a golf course in top condition throughout the year. The moderate length of the course ensures that this is a great course to play for the average golfer and yet also provides enough of a challenge for the golfer who wants to break the trajectory average of 71!

The popularity of the golf course is mainly reflected in the "Calamari Classic Event" a golf tournament for three days that takes place in September every year. Nationally known for its hospitality, this is a club where you enjoy playing a round.
