Ballito - Zimbali Golf Course

A farm house ruin and an old fig tree dominate the entrance to the clubhouse of Zimbali. It is an 18-hole golf course situated on the Dolphin Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, 45 kilometres north of Durban. The course starts as a Links (coast) Course but takes a dramatic turn when you arrive in rugged wetlands and end with the forests of the Zimbali coastal forest. The characteristic of this course makes for an unforgettable round of golf. The course is designed by Tom Wieskopf in 1998 and at a decent, walking and is not suitable for someone with a handicap. To play golf, carts are now mandatory!

Many T's are higher on hills or sand dunes and fairways that waves through green valleys and along natural streams and ponds, thus it is difficult to estimate the distance. Especially for those who play for the first time this will be a time-consuming activity.
